Instant fat-filled milk powder can be used to entirely or partially replace whole milk. The physical, chemical and organoleptic qualities of this alternative are identical to those of a dairy product.

The spray drying process is carried out for liquid emulsion of skimmed milk concentrate with correctly selected vegetable oil to produce good solubility yields immediate fat-rich milk powder. The powder is spray dried to make it easier to reconstitute the product and increase its wettability and solubility. It has physical, organoleptic, and chemical qualities that are similar to dairy products.

Additional Information

In fat-filled milk powders the proteins are derived from non-fat milk solids. During the spray drying process, the product is treated with lecithin to improve solubility. The FFMP is a commonly used ingredient in the food sector for baking, confectionery, and other applications.
